Who Wore It First?








The overly exaggerated tall collar was high fashion in 1912 and it is also a signature style of Karl Lagerfeld – something he adopted after his dramatic weight loss in 2001 to disguise his crepey neck. However, it was outspoken Canadian hockey commentator Don Cherry who first revived the style for himself in the late 1980s – presumably to hide his redneck.
