Spaghetti, located at 32 Beauchamp Place in London, was an independent couture shop owned by Nadia La Valle – the shop’s name honoured La Valle’s Italian heritage. In business since 1976, her clientele included younger socialites with a taste for the Bohemian. Rich textiles and exotic embroideries inspired by Tangiers and Bombay (where La Valle spent much time) were typical of La Valle’s work.
One of La Valle’s most famous clients was Isabella Blow who had her purple velvet wedding dress made by La Valle in 1989. La Valle retired in 2007.
