If you are in Bahrain and want to see some highlights from the Fashion History Museum’s footwear collection, check out A Shoe Story – an exhibition of eighty shoes at the Moda Mall┬áin Manama, Bahrain. The exhibition from May 23 to June 16 includes shoes designed by Perugia, Ferragamo, and Vivier, as well as shoes worn by Lauren Bacall, Ginger Rogers and Imelda Marcos.

Kenn is the better flyer than I am, so he got the opportunity to fly to Bahrain to install the exhibition, and represent the museum to Bahraini dignitaries on tours of the show during opening day.

The exhibition was as well received in Bahrain as it was when we sent a similar exhibition of shoes to Hong Kong two years ago — what can I say – people LOVE shoes!
